Dr. Fong had over 20 years solid experience in the United States computer industries. He worked in various world class cooperations including the Digital Equipment Corporation, the Data General Corporation, and the Wang Laboratories. The computer systems and projects that he got involved including DEC Systems 10 and 20, VAX-11/780 Systems, FHP project, MV/20000, VS-300 FPU and the VS-10000, etc.

Dr. Fong joined the City University of Hong Kong in 1991. He was Visiting Professor at the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Science from 1997 to 2003. At present, he is Associate Professor and the Director of the EDA Center in the Department of the Electronic Engineering of the City University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Richard C. L. Li has served as chief system architect and technical director of Cherubim Enterprise Solutions Ltd. since the founding of the company in 2002. He has a long-standing interest in discovering, developing and introducing new technology in the open source world. Dr. Li devoted himself to the research in boosting the performance of object-oriented application execution using hardware / software combined techniques. He holds Ph.D., MPhil., and First Honor Degree in computer engineering, all from City University of Hong Kong. He has been awarded one United States patents on computer architecture and design.
